Ashmolean Museum, Oxford
Measured Survey
The Ashmolean is the University of Oxford’s museum of art and archaeology, founded in 1683. The building is on six levels with decades of extensions and alterations of different architectural styles.
Our instruction was to produce new up to date AutoCAD plans of the building so they could be used by the facilities team. Our team spent three days on site carefully measuring the building as not to disturb the general public and the exhibits.
Producing accurate drawings again was a team effort. Fully dimensioned CAD drawings of all floors were sent onto the client for the future maintenance and use of the Museum.
